Threshold Stories: Tour Overview

"bucket list items don’t just happen. We will help you replicate what your heroes do. Take a warrior’s journey with us."

Sustainability and Eco-Friendly

Over-tourism has overwhelmed people.  The pleasure that used to come from visits to historical places has been undone by the population density mixed with high numbers of seasonal tourists.  We avoid that plague by conducting our Adventure tours out of the area that suffers from over-tourism.

  • Our rafting tour takes place in the Kuskokwim River basin, more than 500 miles from the nearest paved road.
  • Your money supports local Alaskan bush pilots and Nepali Sherpas.  It does not fuel corporate wallets and expensive marketing strategies.
  • You avoid the crowds once we leave our origination/departure city.
  • You are more removed from crime in remote regions than you are in metropolitan areas.
  • You have a positive impact on the local community when you visit.
  • You are treated as an interesting individual instead of a tourist with money.
